Description
Manchester is one of the greatest cities in the north of England, known as the cradle of the Industrial Revolution and famous by its musical scene. UMIST is one of the most important Science and Technology Universities of England. ELTC is the core of this university specialized in the English language education.

Lodging
The students can lodge in family houses, a good way to know the British lifestyle. During the summer programs there’s also the possibility of lodging in the University dormitories, for those students who wish it.

Academics
ELTC-UMIST has general English courses, university preparation and individual and professional development courses. During summer are intensive courses, as well as exam preparation courses for IELTS, with strategies and techniques to improve the score.

Activities
The students of this course can travel to places like York, Chester and Liverpool, or participate in the several activities prepared by the school. Students can also practice sports in the university Sports Center facilities.
